Lingo Links consists of small, friendly, informal groups where you brush up language skills through conversation with mother-tongue speakers.
The concept is uniquely South African, and as a non-profit organisation it is affordable to all. Our aim is Lingo Links from A – Z (Afrikaans – Zulu)
There are two forms of groups:
1. Bilingual exchanges.
Speakers of any two languages meet for mutual practice, spending equal time (usually one hour) on each language.
e.g. Spanish/English or Afrikaans/German.
2. Single medium groups.
Groups where one or more mother-tongue speakers direct the conversation.
e.g. The group meets to speak Greek, Chinese or Venda.
