Global Intern – Programme Agreement
The following terms and conditions govern your participation in the Translating Me, Global Intern programme ("Training Programme").
By submitting a registration form to undertake the Training Programme you are regarded as having accepted these terms and conditions.
The Training Course runs for 3 months. The course will consist of online training modules, weekly challenges and a final assignment.
As part of the course you will receive the following support*:
5 days a week access to an online social media expert and peer community
2 x 1:1 sessions with a social media expert
2 Day Retreat, including 1 night accommodation, and 5 meals.
6 topic specific webinars
Feedback on your weekly reporting assignment (the feedback will help ensure you complete this assignment accurately in time for final assessment)
Allocation to a peer support group
Entrance into our Ubuntu community upon graduation
*This is the first time Translating Me has run the Global Intern Programme, and so we may make amendments to the exact composition of the support package. Any amendments will be communicated to students in advance of the change.
I agree that:
I will make available on average 4 - 10 hours per week for my Global Intern Programme and will work to the week by week structure and pace set by Translating Me.
I will run a campaign during the Programme.
I will run my campaign across 2 social media platforms (the platforms will be determined by the champaign chosen).
I will provide a minimum social media advertising spend of $30 (in addition to the Programme fees)
I will be professional, respectful and courteous in all communication with Translating Me, and understand that any failure to do so may result in me being excluded from the Programme
I will not take holiday during the programme unless previously agreed (prior to signing this agreement) by Translating Me.
Costs for training $1799 +VAT which can be paid upfront, or in 3 installments of $625 +VAT.
The option to pay in installments requires the initial deposit of $625 (+ VAT).
To confirm your place on the course you must complete your payment and agree to our terms.
Payments are to be made via Paypal, a secure online payment gateway and your payment instructions and link will be emailed to you in a separate email.
Once both of these actions are completed we will then confirm your place on the programme.
Please note that after 7 days of making your payment the following cancellation policy applies.
A cooling off period of 7 days from the date of you processing your payment entitles you to a full refund should you wish to withdraw from the training.
Our cancellation and refund policy is applicable 7 days after you have processed your payment:
All requests for cancellations and/or transfers must be received by email to email@example.com. Changes will become effective on the date of written confirmation being received. The appropriate cancellation charge will apply based on the cost of your booking, as shown below.
Calendar days notice before the start date of the programme.
45 calendar days or more (6 weeks)
(minus $500 + VAT)
Between 29 and 44 calendar days (inclusive)
50% refund (minus $500 + VAT)
Between 1 and 28 calendar days (inclusive)
Once the programme is in progress, refunds are not provided
If you wish to defer and move to a later course you must provide a minimum of 6 weeks (45 days) notice.
If you cancel your course within 1 and 28 calendar days prior to the programme starting and you have not paid your course fee in full you are still liable for the total Programme fee unless you are still within the cooling off period see above.
Failure to pay your outstanding balance may result in legal action.
Translating Me from time to time may offer seasonal discounts however the price detailed in our terms are fixed and final therefore no retrospective discounts will be given.
If you leave the course part way through the training, you will continue to have access to the content but not touchpoints for the remainder of the 12 week period plus 3 months. This is only applicable to students who have paid in full.
Suspension from Training Programme
Unless otherwise agreed with us, failure to pay for the Training Programme prior to the due date for payment or failure to pay an instalment payment by the due date will result in your exclusion from the Training Programme and you will not be able to access any online modules or features of the Training Programme until payment is made.

Privacy and Data Protection
We may collect and process information that you give to us by filling in the registration form for the Training Programme or by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise.
The information that you give us may include your name, address, email address and phone number, financial and credit card information and [qualifications and work experience].
We will use information held about you to carry out obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us to provide the training and to provide you with information about, or changes to, our business.

Once you have agreed to our terms and made your payment we will then be able to confirm your place on the course.
